Hank works in the Webflow Designer and CMS the way a careful web producer would. You describe the change in a message. He builds it on staging, sends you the link and publishes when you say so.
What Hank does on Webflow
- Designer edits on your webflow.io staging site first, then a publish to your custom domain on your go.
- CMS items and collections, including rich text, images and reference fields.
- Localization: new locales added, and translated pages kept in sync with your primary locale.
- Page settings: titles, meta descriptions, Open Graph images, SEO fields and schema embeds.
- Interactions left intact. He edits content and layout around the animations you already have.
- The publish queue checked before every publish, so only what you approved goes live.
- A named backup before bigger changes, so there’s a clean point to go back to.
How access works
You invite Hank’s own email address to your site. For content and CMS work that’s a site Editor. For layout changes it’s a workspace member with Designer access.
We ask for the lowest role that covers what you want handled. He shows up in your team settings like any collaborator, and you can remove him in one click.
Good to know
- Your webflow.io staging subdomain is the review link. Every change lands there first, and that’s the link Hank sends you.
- He never publishes to your custom domain without your go, unless you’ve told him a type of change can ship on its own.
- He uses a seat you add, as a workspace member or a site collaborator. Hank never upgrades your Webflow plan or buys a seat himself.

All questionsCan he edit CMS content without touching the design?
Yes. As a site Editor he works on content and CMS items only, and your layout stays exactly as it is.
Will he break my interactions?
He edits around them and checks the page on desktop and mobile after publishing. If a change would affect an interaction, he asks first.
Does he work with Webflow Localization?
Yes. He adds locales, translates pages and CMS items, and keeps them in step when the primary locale changes.
