Shopify store updates on request

Hank keeps your Shopify store current: product pages, collections, theme sections and the content around them. Theme changes happen on a copy first and go live on your go.

What Hank does on Shopify

  • Product pages: titles, descriptions, images and alt text.
  • Collections set up, sorted and kept tidy as products come and go.
  • Theme section edits in the theme editor, made on a duplicate theme.
  • Blog posts formatted from your doc.
  • Navigation menus.
  • SEO fields: page titles, meta descriptions and URL handles.
  • Redirects when a product or page moves, and metafields filled in so product details show where your theme expects them.

How access works

Add Hank as a collaborator or a staff account with only the permissions he needs, usually products and the online store. For catalogue work alone, products is enough.

We don’t ask for access to payments or payouts. Remove the account from your users and permissions settings at any time.

More on security and access

Good to know

  • Theme changes are made on a duplicate theme and published on your go. Your live theme stays untouched until then.
  • Product and collection edits apply to the live store as soon as they’re saved, so Hank confirms those with you first.
  • He never buys an app or changes your Shopify plan. If a fix needs a paid app, he tells you which one and why.

Shopify questions

All questions

Does he touch my live theme?

Not until you approve. He works on a duplicate theme, sends you the preview link and publishes that theme once you say go.

Can he install apps?

He doesn’t buy or install paid apps. If a fix needs one, he tells you what and why, and the decision stays with you.

Does he need access to orders and payments?

No. We ask for the lowest permissions that do the job, usually products and the online store.
