How access works
Invite Hank as a Contributor with Content Editor permissions. If you want him to handle site-wide settings like navigation, SEO formats and redirects, give him Website Editor instead.
Store work may also need the Store Manager permission. Remove any of it from your permissions settings whenever you like.
Good to know
- Squarespace has no staging site. So Hank works in drafts, sends you a preview and publishes on your go.
- Edits to a page that’s already live show as soon as they’re saved. For those, Hank confirms the exact change with you first and checks the page straight after.
- He works inside your template and site styles, so fonts and colours stay consistent.

No. He works inside your current design and site styles. A redesign is quoted separately, and Hank keeps the current site running in the meantime.
